Rachel started at the University of Michigan as a pre-pharmacy program student but decided that pharmacy wasn’t for her. She still wanted to major in the sciences and stumbled upon neuroscience, and that kickstarted her fascination with the brain.
Heather Clark has over 20 years of paralegal experience, including more than a decade focused on intellectual property. She supports any team with expertise in patent preparation and prosecution, as well as intellectual property agreements and related administrative matters.
Cate is drawn to the intersection of drug development, business, and law as it provides endless opportunities to constantly learn about cutting edge technologies. She is also passionate about advocating for scientists with novel assets as they embark on the long journey of drug development required to make meaningful impacts to healthcare.
While working at Calyx Law, Tyler was also a graduate fellow in the ASU technology transfer office and has been a contributor to the decentralized science (DeSci) ecosystem. Through all of his endeavors, he aims to understand and improve the systems through which life science knowledge is developed into practical solutions for human problems.
A registered patent agent with a degree in Chemistry, Greg brought his research experience in synthetic chemistry to his work at Calyx Law. Greg’s work focused on drafting and prosecuting domestic and international patent applications, performing due diligence, and assisting with patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.
