Ed Ryan is an intellectual property attorney with broad experience across patent prosecution, trademark prosecution, and litigation at both the USPTO and federal court levels. With a background in physics, Ed brings a rigorous technical foundation to every matter — enabling him to quickly master clients’ technologies across a wide range of fields and render complex innovations in clear, precise language. His practice spans electronics, semiconductors, and machine learning systems, and his clients consistently value his ability to engage deeply with their work at every level of abstraction.
Ed has litigated IP matters at the state and federal level, including the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Appellate Division for the First Department of New York. Outside of IP law, Ed serves on the Board of Directors of the Radio Club of America.
